Hey All

Hey all,

My name is Karen, though most people know me as JediKaren. I'm 23, live in Virginia, US. I recently graduated from college with a history degree, though no job and it's not from a lack of looking.

I'm a psion and have been for ten years, though I found the psi community six years ago. I've been very proactive there. I ran a site called PsiWorld for about four years before shutting it down to co make and own a site call Shifted Perspectives. I then left that a few months afterwards realizing I needed to focus on graduating from college.

I would call myself fairly experienced in psionics, though I believe there is a lot to know about psi that hasn't been done or explored yet. My natural skills lie in empathy, scanning, astral projection, precog. I can also do remote viewing and presence, some healing and tk, shielding, basic programming, telepathy, and that's about it. I have thorough researched the above topics and many more. I have little interest in other energies. I believe it's all one energy anyhow, though the views, methods, and logic behind each name is what makes the different "energies" different.

I have taught and "trained" tons. I love the kind, polite newbies, though I also love to have a good intelligent chat with experienced psions. I love to write about psionics. Though these days I don't do much in the way of practicing or teaching as I've been publicly quiet and hidden. I'm seeing if I want to come out of hiding. I of course love to learn and I think I would die if I could have the opportunity to learn "advance' psionics, though I have yet to find the teacher. lol I'm starting to wonder if anyone can truly do advance psionics or I'm just making it up in my head.

Aside from psionics, I love to draw and paint and write. I hang out with friends, play facebook games, read, and wonder around in nature or have quality time with my ever so cute cat. I'm an atheist though I keep an open mind to other religions and am willing to talk about any of them. Just don't try to convert me. I'm a huge star wars fan if you haven't figured out. I'm kinda really into a realistic version of Jedism (yep it's really real and I have links if you want them), but I tend to keep that little fact to myself.

I found this site through Arcane and through rumors that it was a good site. It seems small, but interesting and Im always up for interesting as I have been on all sorts of sites

Its interesting to see you again. What was the goal of that site anyway?For arcane and others it seems to have turned out as another psionics site and isnt really anything new or revolutionary. Fine, but I was wondering if something would happen on that site...

Ok. I am not sure how you would define advanced, but most of the psionics out there is basic level. There is this thing I call the unknown that most people don't talk about. I don't think anything like it is mentioned much in psionics channels.

JediKaren / others, based on the guid it looks like what Krishnamurti was trying to teach in a more philosophical way. You may have not heard of him, but his teaching is quite similar to what you are mentioning. He was trying to describe the force in a way others can understand. The force cannot be understood in any known way, you have to experience it yourself to understand it. That should be enough for now.
