Hmm 8:55 doesn't ring a bell i once a vision about everyone gathering somewhere for protection it was very icy and soon after they were being swallowed by something I don't think that helps but I thought I'd give it a try.

Ive seen some nasty stuff myself, i get the prophetic dreams all the time, that in itself wouldn't be so bad if it wern't for some Becoming reality
(I saw 9/11 3 days before for example). Clarvoyancy ain't my thing but seeing large volcanic eruptions in NZs near future.... and the destruction it causes.....

as for war, NZ is safest still by far and ive not seen any occupation down here. As for the other half the globe, its getting closer. Israel have done training sorties for a strike on enrichment facilitys in Iran, whom uped the retoric by testing long range missiles..... how much closser to the brink can we get?

*reads the thread up until now* Well I dont know much in the way of determining the truth behind the visions of others.

Hmm, this answer may not be the most practical answer, but I think its safe to say that the last war, is the first war. There has only been one war going on, its manifested in different events that we give seperate titles, but they all had the same cause, they are all expressions of humanities weaknesses. For the wars to end, the weaknesses have to end, so either humanity has to die or it has to become something other then human. So it is virtually garunteed that the last war will bring about the end of humanity, in some way, but the end may also be a beginning.

That being said though, I dont believe the end of humanities life span is near, there is nothing we go through now that we havent survived before. So if history does repeat, or at least rhymes, then I think were safe for now. Every generation has had doomsday prophecies and many of them contained similiar elements, by examining these failed prophecies I feel one can get a look into the human mind and what it hopes for and fears.
