How would one make a construct that would increase, boost ones psionic abilities??

where there is will there is a way.... although i'm unsure why you would need a construct to help ....
'focus' your energy to help 'heighten' your intent... train yourself... all a construct is is a program or macro... a set of instructions to make your life easier ... much like a computer does.

Well you have come to the right person, for that question, or more or less you have the right person to answer your question.

What you are looking for is something called an internal or external mod/overlay.

An overlay is an external construct such as an "add on" that through programming and alignment with the nervous system or other energy systems, outside of that changes or influences how an energy system itself functions and thusly changes the patterns or illuminations that one can produce both with their mind and energy.

A popular overlay is called the "Phoenix" overlay and is used to convert a normal energy working into the "Phoenix" type, or "generator".

What this does is causes the person's energy field to expand, to generate a much larger and more potent amount of energy than most psi energy users or workers... if you want a full list of terms you can check out Winged_Wolf's psion guild site, but I won't make a linked reference here.

As for how to create such a thing... I would recomend getting somone more experienced who you talk to frequently to do one for you or on you.

However, if you are still hell bent on making your own mod which changes or increases your ability to do psi then follow along.

Step 1:

Learn basic energy working.

Step 2: Learn about your own energy systems.

Step 3: The meat of it.

Kill switch: A program strand you put into a construct which allows you to trigger it's automated destruction.

To make a construct which allows you to expand your energy system... into a higher function is difficult... there are sub flows and main flows, which move through your body and your carpel tunnel is a good one to start with however I will not be held responsible for the results or any screw ups you experience through attempting anything listed in my reply.

Align a basic string construct into your carpel tunnel, and create a drift aspect which acts as a reverse tunnel allowing energy to back up in your carpel tunnel or fire, Then put a hose or a "nozzle" type construct at the opening of that energy center... (Just before your palm starts) and connect these parts as individual functioning energy programs.. stranded together. Then... the fun part. Use an ability and filter it through the construct you just created, program the construct for security and functionality layering it each time an ability is used until it becomes resistant and "aware" that, the ability you are triggering is affecting it. Once it develops an awareness that the ability affects it, program it to keep a small database on the abilities you use, and program it to sense which frequencies are being used in which orders.. basically a pattern search. Then, scan the construct for this information back to you and have it trigger whichever pattern you want. Use the construct to store patterns or energetical information... based on the functioning of your psi and even your nervous system...

Practice psi from that point on with that construct integrated into your carpel tunnel. Once the construct develops the ability to sense acurately what it is you are triggering or doing, program it to be able to sense those same things in other constructs... make it aware of basic psi knowledge and whatever mechanics you may want it to know in order for it to be able to "read" data from other constructs...

allow it to link to constructs in streams, copying bits of information and storing them. By this time it's database will be fairly well developed the only issue you will have is making ABSOLUTE SURE it DOES NOT go ROUGE.

This is how I created my sort of famous Form X construct... only.. my creation of it was less planned out, more sloppy, and it developed way more quickly..

Anyhow.. make the construct develop and expose it to as many different energy types as you can making sure that it builds a relevant database.. make the construct do all the work for you and automate the energy working through it's own filters which are routed directly through your energy system...


If you want to get brave and think you are experienced, you can make a construct like this and inlay it, into the sub flows as well.. which are centered around the areas of that carpel tunnel flow.. just make sure that no blockages are created you want to center all the filters on the chakra and flow areas, and not over them, so that it blocks flow.... if this occurs use the kill switch that you put into your construct.

Now... the fun part is maintenence.. you need to take note of any side effects that take place due to this sort of a mod... and you should have others who are more experienced and knowledgable who you can trust, informed of this and make sure they can moniter the construct on atleast a week to week basis for the first few days make it daily monitering.

The maintence involves

1-manually scan the construct and all it's programming functions.. making sure that it does NOT go rouge.. and locking down any dangerous files it may contain in it's now developed "database"..

2: Developing a database for a construct is as simple as making it think less sentient and more like a computer. Make it "Tick" at a basic AI level first... and give it basic functions which act as "command " line visuals... in interpretation...

3: Security.. eventually your construct or mod will develop more of a mind of it's own... don't let any security be breached make sure it's well protected against invasion especially if it does somehow manage to learn it's own abilities..

4: safe checking.. check it's attitudes and make sure that any personality traits it has developed are kept under control if it decides to go rouge (against you), destroy it immediately... or it could be detrimental.

5: Changing flows, and removing any dangerous information it may have gathered... this kind of maintence is the same as making sure your home pc gets no viruses... it's more difficult to explain than show... however if anyone here has any further questions simply ask me it's complicated to explain... I am doing my best.

There is no easy way to make a construct that enhances psi abilities.. this is about as simple as it gets...

I don't think messing with one's own energy system is a good idea, wouldn't it be safer to make a "Phoenix" construct that would generate psi? Instead of shoving a big ol' overlay into your energy system?

I did it with my energy system and it works great.

I learned abilities much faster than anyone practicing psi under regular specs would have learned or undergone. I developed, dare I say... exponantially in psi ^_^
